Jennifer & Angelina face-to-face

It’s the Oscars moment we were all waiting for and the bit of footage we jumped out of bed unusually early on a Monday morning to watch.

Nope, not Slumdog Millionaire romping to glory or Kate Winslet pulling off a composed and likeable acceptance speech, but evidence of Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie in the same room at the same time.

The potential for fireworks, scandal and gossip was almost too much to bare as Brad Pitt’s ex-wife, Aniston, and the mother of his children, Jolie, came face-to-face for the first time since ‘hottest Hollywood couple’ (Aniston and Pitt) ended in 2005 and were replaced with the ‘Lord and Lady of Hollywood’ (Jolie and Pitt).

Valentino-clad Aniston, who skipped the red carpet at Sunday’s show after being given a slot very close to Jolie, presented the award for Best Animated Feature alongside Jolie’s Kung-Fu Panda co-star Jack Black.
